The LokPilot 5 DCC is the "twin brother" of the LokPilot 5. The two share almost all characteristics, however, the LokPilot 5 DCC is a pure DCC decoder and cannot be used on analog AC systems. This lack of flexibility comes with a cheaper price.
LokPilot 5 decoders are offered with all common interfaces.
Modes
The LokPilot 5 DCC is a "pure-bred" DCC decoder. 14 to 128 speed steps are as natural as 2- and 4-digit addresses. Up to 32 functions can be triggered. Thanks to RailComPlus® the decoders register automatically with a suitable DCC system like the ESU CabControl.
The decoder accepts all DCC programming modes and thanks to RailCom® the CV values can be read on the main track with RailCom equipped DCC systems. For command stations that only program the CVs from 1-255 auxiliary CV registers exist.
The LokPilot 5 DCC decoder recognizes the Märklin® braking sections as well as the ZIMO® HLU / ZACKCommands or the Lenz® ABC system. Also braking with DCC brake modules or with DC voltageis possible. It also stops with a Selectrix® brake diode. An ABC automatic shuttle trainenables automatic commuting between two train stations.
The LokPilot 5 DCC decoder can be used on analog DC trains. The top speedcan be set separately.
The decoder switches between the operating modes fully automatically "on-the-fly".
Features
We know that you want your locomotives to be as realistic as possible. Therefore we have the LokPilot 5DCC packed with function outputs. Depending on the interface version, each LokPilot offers 5 DCCDecoder at least 10 amplified function outputs with 250mA output current each. In the executionswith PluX22 or 21MTC interface there are 4 outputs to control servos orLogic level outputs added. All-important lighting functions are available. The brightness of each outputcan be set separately. The decoder masters automatic pushing and pullingwhen uncoupling for ROCO®, Krois® and Telex® couplings.
Motor control
The engine control of the LokPilot 5 DCC has been fundamentally improved again. A variably adjustablePWM clock frequency from 10kHz to 50kHz ensures super quiet operation, especially with bell-armature motors.Operation - The typical “hum” is a thing of the past. The load control now has up to10 CVs which can be adjusted for difficult cases. The unique "Autotune" function enablesthe automatic calibration of the decoder to the motor. The LokPilot 5 DCC decoder delivers up to 1.5A of motor current. Enough juice even for older motors.
Operational safety
On request, a PowerPack can be fitted to the LokPilot 5 DCC to bridge dirty rail sections.
Protection
Of course, all function outputs and the motor output are protected against overload.

Betriebsarten
Der LokPilot 5 DCC ist ein „reinrassiger“ DCC-Decoder. 14 bis 128 Fahrstufen sind so selbstverständlich wie 2- und 4-stellige Adressen. Es können bis zu 32 Funktionen ausgelöst werden. Dank RailComPlus® melden sich die Decoder an einer geeigneten Digitalzentrale vollautomatisch an.
Er beherrscht alle DCC Programmiermodi und dank RailCom® können mit passenden Zentralen die CV-Werte auf dem Hauptgleis ausgelesen werden. Für Zentralen, die nur die CVs von 1-255 programmieren können existieren Hilfsregister.
Der LokPilot 5 DCC Decoder erkennt die Märklin® Bremsstrecken ebenso wie ZIMO® HLU / ZACK Befehle oder das Lenz® ABC System. Auch das Bremsen mit DCC-Bremsbausteinen oder mit Gleichspannung ist möglich. Darüber hinaus hält er auch bei einer Selectrix® Bremsdiode an. Eine ABC-Pendelzugautomatik ermöglicht das automatische Pendeln zwischen zwei Bahnhöfen.
Der LokPilot 5 DCC Decoder kann auf analogen Gleichstrombahnen eingesetzt werden. Die Höchstgeschwindigkeit kann hierbei separat eingestellt werden.
Der Decoder schaltet zwischen den Betriebsarten vollautomatisch „on-the-fly“ um. Meist muss nichts eingestellt werden.
Funktionen
Wir wissen, dass Sie Ihre Loks möglichst realistisch haben möchten. Daher haben wir den LokPilot 5 DCC mit Funktionsausgängen vollgepackt. Je nach Schnittstellenausführung bietet jeder LokPilot 5 DCC Decoder wenigstens 10 verstärkte Funktionsausgänge mit je 250mA Ausgangsstrom. Bei den Ausführungen mit PluX22 oder 21MTC-Interface kommen noch 4 Ausgänge zur Ansteuerung von Servos oder Logikpegel Ausgänge hinzu. Alle wichtigen Lichtfunktionen sind vorhanden. Die Helligkeit jedes Ausgangs kann separat eingestellt werden. Der Decoder beherrscht das automatische An- und Abdrücken beim Entkuppeln für ROCO®, Krois® und Telex®-Kupplungen.
Motorsteuerung
Die Motorsteuerung des LokPilot 5 DCC wurde erneut grundlegend verbessert. Eine variabel einstellbare PWM-Taktfrequenz von 10kHz bis 50kHz sorgt gerade bei Glockenankermotoren für einen superleisen Betrieb – Das typische „Brummen“ gehört der Vergangenheit an. Die Lastregelung kann nun mit bis zu 10 CVs auch an schwierige Fälle angepasst werden. Die einzigartige „Autotune“ Funktion ermöglicht das automatische Einmessen des Decoders an den Motor. Der LokPilot 5 DCC Decoder liefert mit bis zu 1.5A Motorstrom genügend Saft auch für ältere Motoren.
Betriebssicherheit
An den LokPilot 5 DCC kann auf Wunsch ein PowerPack zur Überbrückung dreckiger Schienenabschnitte angeschlossen werden.
Schutz
Selbstverständlich sind alle Funktionsausgänge sowie der Motorausgang gegen Überlastung geschützt. Wir möchten, dass Sie möglichst lange Freude an Ihrem Decoder haben.
