The Bachmann HO Scale Thoroughbred Train Set is an excellent entry into the hobby of model railroading. Decorated for eastern railroad giant Norfolk Southern, the EMD F7A diesel locomotive with operating headlight hauls its freight with the ease of a champion. Following just behind is an open quad hopper with coal load, a gondola and a wide-vision caboose. Delivering fun and adventure, the Thoroughbred runs on a 47 x 38" oval of snap-fit E-Z Trackand includes a UL-listed power pack and an illustrated instruction manual. Cars feature E-Z Mate(R) magnetic knuckle couplers.
